This research paper gives arguments for how AI can benefit our education system. It argues that AI can support teachers in giving children the best education whilst not taking away from the humanity of it. AI can be beneficial in aspects such as online tutoring, collaborative learning, and tackling achievement gaps. While it does not specifically mention race or ethnicity, it does broadly deal with the opportunity to make education more accessible, relevant, and tailored for pupils who underperform due to social circumstances. It could be argued that this could be applied to the underperformance of certain racial and ethnic groups in the UK education system, due to societal inequalities.
